FamousWhy Editor:
DBSignOff is a great tool to manage and develop databases. This application is based on simplifying these processes as much as it's possible.
If you want to use DBSignOff, first make sure you meet the requirements:
You will need a decent processor, 1Ghz, at least 5 GB of available space on your hard disk drive and 512 MB of system memory (RAM). Also you will need .Net Framework 3.5 and a data repository supporting OLEDB or a target database.
The installation is not hard at all. Just run the setup.exe file and the installation wizard will appear on your screen. After you accept the terms of agreement, you need to choose what component you want to install. You can either install the DBSignOff Client or the Server. After that, you'll need to put in your information, select a target folder for the installation and then confirm it.
After you finish the installation, you must setup the server if you installed the Server version of DBSignOff. After you set up the server, you can move to the client tool. You will be prompted with 2 issues, you should say 'ok' to both, and everything is fine.
After the client tool is started, we should configure the connection settings.
Once it's all done, we can start working on our projects. We can even manage multiple releases of a single project with DBSignOff.
The whole program is based on scripts because the program keeps evolving, buy if we want scripts to be executed, we must configure the database connections first.
Administrators can save the executed scripts status so all the clients can see the status of the scripts.
DBSignOff can also be integrated into a database change management program.
Why is DBSignOff famous?
DBSignOFF is famous because it's one of the best and complex programs for databases managing in the world at the moment. Everyone with the interest in databases should try this program because it's great and, even if you believe it, it's still free.
