GraphVu Editor (GvEdit) is a simple application for creating, editing and printing graphs.

When creating a new graph, GvEditor will guide you through a short graph setup, which is optional. So you have two options to create a graph.

First, you can easily create a graph manually, just by point and click. Create vortexes by right clicking on an empty space and after that connect them by right clicking on them and choose New Incoming Edge or New Outcoming Edge.

Second, if you want to create a complex and rigorous graph you will need to run the graph setup and follow the steps:

Step 1 � Formal Space Level Properties � vertex and edge properties;
Step 2 � Formal Graph Level Properties � graph, graph vertex and graph edge properties;

Step 3 � Formal View Level Properties � vertex view and edge view properties;
Step 4 � Default View Classes � the default vertex and edge view classes;
Step 5 � Actual Graph Properties � a graph can be a vertex in a super graph, so it has vertex properties as well as graph properties;
Step 6 � Actual Vertex and Edge Properties;
Step 7 � Choose the Graph layout between: Tree Layout, Radial Layout and Force-Directed Layout.

After a graph is created, it can easily be rotated by 90 degrees or flipped horizontally or vertically. Depending on the graph, GvEdit will even let you change its layout.

Every vortex may be customized with different colors, shapes, sizes or names and weight positions. Even the position of the vortex can be set up manually by inserting the desired values on the X and Y axes. The edges that connect the vortexes can also be edited and customized.

The Release 1.0 (revision 952 / 6 Apr 2010) is available in two versions: 32 bit and 64 bit.
