Jpcsp 0.6 Revision 1772 Details

FamousWhy Editor:
Jpcsp is probably the best PlayStation Portable emulator and it allows you to play your favorite PSP games on your own PC. This is not a very new program because it is on the market for 2 years now, but the small team that developed it did a great job, and it still is a brilliant program.

Jpcsp is written in Java and it can reach 100% PSP speed on almost all the commercial games. And the nice part is that the performance is constantly increasing.

This program takes advantage of the dual core processors and matches the PSP dual core architecture.

This program supports NVIDIA graphic cards and it can even take advantage of powerful GPUs. Known problems of this program have been with ATI / AMD graphic cards, but if you keep your Catalyst up to date, you will solve all of them.
You will be able to play more than 200 games if you decide to use this program.
Atrac3 sound and video are supported on Windows 32bit systems only for the moment.

The minimum system requirements for this program are:

  • Pentium 4 CPU or above
  • Any graphic card that supports OpenGL 2.0 or above
  • 1 GB Ram
  • Windows 32bit or 64 bit / Linux 32 bit or 64 bit / Mac OS X

Of course, if you have a better computer, the program will work even better for you.

The program is updated regularly, so you can always get the best performance for your copy of it.

    Why is Jpcsp famous?

Jpcsp is famous because it is a great program that will allow you to play your favorite PSP games on your own PC.
