The jRes application was designed to be is a tiny tool that runs in the system tray of your Windows. By clicking on it's little 'JR' icon, users can easily switch screen resolution and color depth, or open the 'Display Proprties' box.
The functionality is very similar to the MS product QuickRes, but jRes is a full 32-bit app, so it runs under Windows NT.
