FamousWhy Editor: K-Yamo is a music-organizer for tagging music files and ripping audio-CDs.
The tagger can be used for tagging single files or complete director-trees at once. . If you want, K-Yamo can store any tags that it finds into a MySQL-database.
It can give complete-support for all changeable text - this makes tagging a lot faster because you don't have to write manually every tag information. K-Yamo can display you the list of known tags at any time.
You can choose to remove tags from some files and K-Yamo can do this operation for all the files inside a directory tree. It can even sort out the files that are not properly tagged. If it finds duplicate files, it can move them to a desired location, keeping the ones with a better quality.
The ripper can read single songs or the complete CD. It can tags files after transforming them into mp3-format. The ripper also includes FreeDB-support. It can also provide a list of known tags, if MySQL is used. It can fetch tags for CD out of local MySQL-database, when tags where already fetched once. The ripper can cleanup the ripped CD recursively with filenames out of the set tags.
From the Options panel you can build your cleanup-filter with a few mouse clicks, and extend with some signs you want to have in. Also, from this tab, you can set all the paths and some options for K-Yamo.
