Leap of Faith is a small Flash game with a simple concept behind it: you need to jump and reach as high as possible. However, every time when you perform a jump (Space key), the entire environment will change (from here the Leap of Faith title).

It sounds complicate but in reality, it's not that hard. In fact, when you jump, everything changes excepting the small piece of ground you stand on. I'm not sure if this is a bug or it works as intended but basically, it transforms this entire game into a simple one button action game. You can jump as many times as you want from the same spot and when you identify a suitable place to land, simply move your "tree" (or whatever that is) to the right or left (using keyboard's directional keys).

I'm not sure what the goal in this game is. There are no points, there are no different levels and there are no checkpoints to reach (well there is something that looks like a checkpoint; an orange square, but when you hit that square it will send you back to level one, ground level). All you do is jumping and jumping as higher as possible until you get a bit bored, you try to make a bold move and you fall down.

If the concept is simple, the control is even simpler. Basically you have 3 buttons: Space to jump, Right key to move right and Left key to move left.
From graphical point of view, Leap of Faith doesn't look bad; in fact it looks quite nice for a Flash game. It loads really fast and it runs smoothly.
Personally I find this game a little boring but if you are a fan of action/arcade games, Leap of Faith can be an interesting experience.
