Minecraft is an arcade game developed by Markus Persson after he was inspired by Infiniminer. The purpose of the game is to build and destroy various types of blocks in a three dimensional environment.

The user will be given an avatar that is able to create blocks or to destroy some, if needed and the avatar can form fantastic structures and artwork. You can play this game on many multiplayer servers provided by the developer.

You can play MineCraft Classic for free but you can play the beta version, which is very interesting, for a small fee if you download a client or you can even play it in your browser.

The whole game is based on blocks. You will build with blocks, dig through blocks and your own avatar is made of blocks. You can change the appearance of the blocks if you get bored with the current ones also. You can choose from 91 different types of blocks.

In Minecraft you can also achieve items that appear as two dimensional sprites in your inventory, but when you hold it in your hand, it will appear slightly three dimensional.
