FamousWhy Editor: PitchDark is a beautiful dark theme designed by Tim Banker for Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird and TB. As source of inspiration, it was the popular Phoenity Dark theme (designed by Tom Wilson and Lim Chee Aun). However, Phoenity Dark was outdated so Tim Banker decided to bring something new, something fresh and based on the same concept and color combination.
PitchDark for TB (its name also suggests this) is a combination of dark background and white text and it was designed to bring functionality, visibility and usability.
It is a known fact that Mozilla Firefox (and all Mozilla browsers in general) is characterized by their great support for various skins and themes. Many of these themes are designed by users. Some are really good, some are less successful but, the most important thing is that people can choose the theme they love the most.
PitchDark is a one of a kind theme with a great and relaxing design. Although Tim Banker used dark colors, PitchDark for TB is a beautiful theme; it has a great concept and a great design. Personally I can describe PitchDark for TB as a piece of art.
PitchDark for TB was released as a freeware but if you really like your can donate a small sum to support its developer and to help with future improvements for this great design.
Why is PitchDark for TB famous?
