FW Editor: Is MidiRunner the only software you worked on?
Alberto Farinelli: No, I still continue to work also to improve an other product, 123Tag tag editor and multimedia catalog for mp3, iTunes MP4, AAC, OGG and FLAC music files.
FW Editor: Can you tell us more about the Track control feature in MidiRunner?
Alberto Farinelli: Track feature permits to operate on single MIDI tracks contained in the MIDI file, you can disable/enable, change the associated instrument, change tonality. After the changes, you can save to a new MIDI file, creating a new music base in a very easy way.
FW Editor: Do you plan to change the MidiRunner's appearance in the future?
Alberto Farinelli: Yes, I plan to redesign the graphics appearance and add some functions. I will try to mantain a simple layout, while making it less old-style.
FW Editor: At the moment, there are 2 presets for MidiRunner. In the future we'll see more?
Alberto Farinelli: I am working on several enhancements, future realeases will give more functions and options to the users
FW Editor: How does the Lyrics feature works? Also, how does the PC key Octave change the sound of the Midis?
Alberto Farinelli: Lyrics feature extracts lyrics stored into the MIDI files as text. When you play an MP3, lyrics comes from the ID3 tag embedded into the file. Then you can see the lyrics, magnify text font and diplay in a big window, and also print the lyrics
FW Editor: An amazing feature of this program is that you can create music with your own keyboard. How is that possible?
Alberto Farinelli: Midirunner is concepted to work with an external MIDI player, but I have added also generation of MIDI sound pressing the PC keyboard. Every character is mapped like a music note, thinking key position similar to keys sequence in keyboard octaves ..
