FW Editor: What do you plan to create in the future?
Francesco Cecconi: For the future, I expect to continue to improve nmapsi4 both from the viewpoint of optimization of existing features, enhance and complete the search for vulnerabilities and introduce other options of nmap.
FW Editor: Which was the first software you ever created?
Francesco Cecconi: My first open source project was slackins, a complete Qt3-based ui with the design goals to provide a complete interface for User in order to install, remove and upgrade tgz Packages for Slackware.
FW Editor: What was your inspiration behind developing NmapSI4?
Francesco Cecconi: My inspiration, the need for KDE interface to nmap, love for C++ programming, open source philosophy and beer;)
FW Editor: How long did you have to research for developing this software?
Francesco Cecconi: I can not exactly determine the time needed to design, surely the time to examine and define the importance of applying early goals.
FW Editor: Do you plan to optimize the current version of NmapSI4?
Francesco Cecconi: Sicuramente l'ottimizzazione รจ uno dei primi requisiti di ogni versione di nmapsi4.
FW Editor: What is the most important feature that can be found in NmapSI4? How about your favorite feature?
Francesco Cecconi: Every feature of nmapsi4 was thought to be crucial in its normal use, but certainly the research web vulnerabilities, the services found it very interesting ;)
FW Editor: How can you describe NmapSI4in one single word? Why?
Francesco Cecconi: Nmapsi4 in a word, "evolution" of course, because this has always been my idea of development.
