FW Editor: What are your plans or objectives in the near future?
Cipherdon:
FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for TriX? What inspired you the most? Do you plan to develop new software, or are you more focused on optimizing the current ones?
Cipherdon: I started developing TriX when I realized that I spend a lot of time doing routine text-related & computers-related tasks every day. I decided to eliminate this time wasting by creating a small utility which will be easy to use & simple to configure.
Fortunately I found TriX very useful, so I decided to share it with the world, in order to make it easier for other users whom might like TriX and the concept behind it.
As for the future, I have many ideas I’d like to implement, some of them are new features for TriX itself and some are new applications which someday I hope I will be able to share with you all ;-)
FW Editor: From your point of view, which is the strongest TriX feature? Why?
Cipherdon: TriX has lots of neat commands. However, I think that TriX’s most powerful feature is its ability to perform any command by simply click on its keystroke or clicking on it from TriX’s commands list.
FW Editor: TriX is totally free and we really appreciate this. Still, why have you decided to go like this and not with a small license payment? TriX is good enough and I think people will buy it.
Cipherdon: I use lots of great freewares myself and I decided to give TriX for free as a token of my appreciation for these programmers. Still, users who enjoy our products should know that we spend a lot of time to create these products; a good word or a small donation would be a great way to show your appreciation as well!
FW Editor: What are the advantages of using TriX?
Cipherdon: TriX offers lots of commands which I think every user can find his own commands favorites: dictionary, units convertor, quick web search, file system manipulations, research – you name it. Other than that, every command can be called simply by clicking on its unique keystroke, which makes it easier and quicker to perform these commands.
FW Editor: Can you tell us more about TriX core features?
Cipherdon:
FW Editor: How can you describe TriX in one single word? Why?
Cipherdon: For me TriX means productivity: It simply provides the users more time to do what’s really important by doing day-to-day computer related routine tasks.
FW Editor: Is there any full customer support service for TriX clients? If not, do you plan to create one in the future?
Cipherdon: At the moment I try to do my best to be attentive to TriX’s users’ comments and suggestions which I receive via email, in order to make it more stable, fix OS versions related problems that come up from time to time and to add more commands that are inconsistent with TriX’s motto.
FW Editor: Can you tell us more about the idea behind TriX? What made you believe that a software like TriX was necessary?
Cipherdon: TriX came up after I've noticed that there are many text-related common tasks I do on a daily basis that can be automated and by that - save me precious time.
FW Editor: To end with, is there any message you would like to send to TriX users?
Cipherdon: I would like to thank to all TriX’s users for their ideas, comments, suggestions and support; It motivated and still gives me the drive to keep developing TriX and to make it a powerful tool which can be useful for every user.
