FW Editor: What are your plans or objectives in the near future?
Craig Raw: Continue trying to make SearchStatus the best SEO extension out there!
FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for Search Status? What inspired you the most? Do you plan to develop new software, or are you more focused on optimizing the current ones?
Craig Raw: I started in 2004, largely because I felt that current SEO extensions weren't good enough and couldn't do everything I wanted. I still feel it has an important role to fill!
FW Editor: What is the concept behind Search Status? Why do you think that a software like Search Status is necessarily?
Craig Raw: SearchStatus aims to provide essential tools to the SEO practitioner in an unobtrusive and effective manner.
FW Editor: Do you plan to improve or change Search Status in any way? If yes, how are you going to do that?
Craig Raw: I predict SearchStatus will evolve mostly from user requests.
FW Editor: Why it is better to use Search Status over a website (for example) that does the same thing?
Craig Raw: It's really impossible for anything but a browser extension to do what SearchStatus does.
FW Editor: Do you think that Search Status can help us identify malicious websites?
Craig Raw: That's possible, although browsers build that functionality in these days.
FW Editor: Besides Search Status, is there any similar application that had a positive impact over you? Why?
Craig Raw: Firebug never ceases to amaze - a truly great browser extension that brings web developers closer to the browser.
FW Editor: How can you describe Search Status in just a few words?
Craig Raw: SearchStatus is browser extension that provides PageRank, Alexa rank, Compete rank and mozRank along with other essential SEO tools in your status bar.
FW Editor: Do you have any message or anything to share with Search Status users?
Craig Raw: Please keep sending feedback :)
