FW Editor: What are your plans or objectives in the near future?
David Magalhães: I want to create free and easy to use applications for users that only need simple solutions.
FW Editor: What was the first application you created?
David Magalhães: I've created some applications in the past, but Bica File Renamer was the first one to be released to the public and having a Website.
FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for Bica File Renamer? What inspired you the most?
David Magalhães: I started writing Bica File Renamer a couple of months ago when I had a huge list of files to rename and I couldn't find a simple and free Mass Renamer Application without the need to install, so I decided to create my own portable Mass Renamer Application.
FW Editor: Do you plan to improve Bica File Renamer or are you focused on developing new software?
David Magalhães: Yes, I have a couple of ideas that I would like to implement in a near future.
But at moment I'm working on a new application that will be released soon.
FW Editor: What new features do you plan to add to Bica File Renamer with the next updates?
David Magalhães: Undo/Redo options.
Rename files from different folders at same time.
Alphabetic sequence.
FW Editor: What makes Bica File Renamer better than similar mass renamer software?
David Magalhães: It's free, portable, cross-platform and the most important it's easy to use, most of mass renamer applications have a lot of options that most of users rarely use, that make those applications a bit hard to use for common users.
FW Editor: How can you characterize Bica File Renamer in a single word? Why?
David Magalhães: Handy, because it's small, portable, cross-platform and easy to use.
FW Editor: Now, to end our small interview, is there any message you would like to send to Bica File Renamer users?
David Magalhães: I would like to say that if anyone have feature requests or would like to translate Bica File Renamer into your language feel free to write me a line.
Thanks
