FW Editor: How did you get the idea of creating DVDFab Media Player?

Fengtao Software Inc.: I have used a lot of media players on the market, but no one can make me satisfied almost. Some players can not support all video formats, the others are complex designed which are very difficult to use for many people. We hope to develop one Blu-ray player software, operating on both Windows and Mac system, which not only can support all the video formats but also is easy to use.

FW Editor: Are there any further improvements that you are sure about?

Fengtao Software Inc.: We are planning to develop 3D-playing function in the near future.

FW Editor: When are we expecting the next version release and what major changes will it contain?

Fengtao Software Inc.: The product will be updated weekly. We will improve the product and make it more and more mature. Airplay function will be added in the next major change.

FW Editor: Please tell us more about DVDFab Media Player, what is your opinion? Did it come out the way you wanted?

Fengtao Software Inc.: The initial idea of developing DVDFab Media Player is that we hope design one player which is suitable for users of different ages. Based on this idea, we design two play modes. The one is DVD & Blu-ray navigation mode which is designed for children and old people. This mode has simple navigation menu, so it easy to use. Through it, users could choose the movie title freely and easily. The other one is Quick & Simple Mode which is designed for young people. Except to choose title, users could get more movie information, for example the director, actor, film synopsis, movie posters, etc. The product we finished can cover different-age groups and operate easily, so it realizes our initial idea. DVDFab Media Player for Mac is the world's first Mac Blu-ray media player software which supports full functional navigation feature for Blu-ray. It absolutely brings fantastic user control experience to Mac folks.

FW Editor: In the end, what is your overall rating about DVDFab Media Player compared to what you wanted to create when you first got the idea of the project?

Fengtao Software Inc.: Of course, DVDFab Media Player is not perfect now. We will continue to improve it and enhance the user experience. New functions will be added gradually, for example the player language will be automatically switched to be consistent with the language of user's operating system.
