FW Editor: Can you tell us more about yourself? Which was the first software you have developed? Gordon Sweet: The DOS based at http://www.sigord.co.uk/SubmitsDOS/DOSsoftware.htm
FW Editor: I have notice you have quite a collection that includes interesting applications like HTML Coder, Cookie Cleaner, RandomPlay, AnimGif or MorseTest. Which is your favorite software and why? Gordon Sweet: Speech Boards because it is for the disabled and Bingo Speak because it helps anyone to run a Bingo session such as for the elederly.
FW Editor: All your software are completely free. From that I can understand that developing is a passion and not a business for you. Is that true? Gordon Sweet: Yes being 77 and a widower I am not interested in making a profit
FW Editor: Can you tell us a few things about RandomPlay? How can you describe it? Gordon Sweet: Unlike such as Windows Media Player needing a playlist to be created, it is a straightforward music player that only requires you to choose the folder holding the MID and MP3 files
FW Editor: RandomPlay is a simple music player without any advanced settings. How can RandomPlay compete against powerful applications like Winamp? Gordon Sweet: The more clever the software, the more complicated it is to use for many people. I pride myself on trying to make software as simple to as possible.
FW Editor: Do you have any plans in improving RandomPlay in any way? Do you plan to add more functionality, to design a new interface, etc? Gordon Sweet: As my site shows I am ALLWAYS open to any suggestions for improvements. But I rarely get any feedback even if anyone finds the odd bug.
FW Editor: Do you have any message for your fans? Is there anything you would like to share with them? Gordon Sweet: Please never fail to make suggestions, or even ask for any of my Freeware to to be freely changed if I can for your particular needs. Even if you only want a special personal heading or instuctions added.
