FW Editor: Sparkbooth looks really nice. Was it hard to develop it? How long have you worked on this program?
John Wu: The original version took a few days to write, but I have been continuously adding new features and improving the application over its lifetime.
FW Editor: How does it really work? Why do we need Adobe AIR to use it?
John Wu: I use Adobe AIR for its cross-platform capabilities. Also Adobe's toolset for allows me to create great looking applications quickly.
FW Editor: Can someone use a professional camera which is plugged into the computer instead of the standard webcam?
John Wu: Sorry, it only uses webcams.
FW Editor: Are you still planning on updating this program? Do you want to share some new features with us?
John Wu: Yes, I am adding new features all the time. The next release of Sparkbooth will make it easier to setup and configure printing.
FW Editor: Can the quality/size of the pictures be changed by the user if he desires so?
John Wu: Quality and size of the pictures is dependent on your webcam. I recommend using a high-quality webcam like the Logitech 9000 pro.
FW Editor: What makes Spark booth special and unique amongst the other programs of its kind?
John Wu: Sparkbooth is much easier to install, setup, and use. You can get up and running in just a couple minutes compared to other similar applications. Also Sparkbooth much more affordable than other photo booth applications. You can say it is photo booth software for the common person.
