FW Editor: What was your inspiration behind developing Disk Genius?
Li Dahai: It was about 10 years ago, I accidentally deleted a partition on my hard drive. I thought it might be recovered by editing the partition table and rebuilt the partition entry for it. I got it done but some of its calculation was quite complex. So I thought of writing a simple program, other people may encounter with the same problem. After adding a series basic partition management functions, the DOS version of DiskGenius Software came into being. The Windows version of DiskGenius was developed from 2 years ago.

FW Editor: How well do you think Disk Genius performs over other type of disk management software available in the market?
Li Dahai: Intuitive and Powerful partition management, plus Partition Recovery and Data Recovery solutions. Multiple and Professional functions.

FW Editor: What are your future plans regarding Disk Genius?
Li Dahai: We are working on getting it more friendly and easily even for unprofessional users, and we will provide more functions.

FW Editor: Do you plan to port Disk Genius to other operating system platforms as well?
Li Dahai: We do not have this plan recently, we will concentrate on the Windows version.

FW Editor: How long did you have to research to develop Disk Genius?
Li Dahai: The development of DiskGenius DOS version is something dramatically. It was more than 10 years since year 1999 when I start to work on it. But the research and development time is approximately in the recent 3 years because of 7 years interruption.

FW Editor: Is there any special feature of Disk Genius that you like the most?
Li Dahai: I think the Lost Partition Recovery function is what I like most. And it's most of our users' favorite function also. It's fast and intuitional.

FW Editor: How would you describe Disk Genius in a few words?
Li Dahai: DiskGenius is a powerful partition toolkit. It will be more powerful with your energetic support and my effort.

FW Editor: Do you have any special message to give to the users of Disk Genius?
Li Dahai: DATA IS PRECIOUS, OPERATE CAREFULLY.
