FW Editor: Margu-NotebookInfo2 is one of the most comprehensive applications of its type. It was hard to develop and manage something that powerful? Are you happy with the results?
Mario: The hardest part was to get all needed information out of the Windows system without the use of 3rd party software.
Of course I'm happy witz the result so far, but there are a few limitations with some notebook brands which makes my gadget not work, due natively used drivers of the manufacturers.
FW Editor: Which important system information are displayed by Margu-NotebookInfo2?
Mario: I tried to make nearly all necessary information visible on the screen without any interaction by the user (time, date, calendar, cpu and ram usage, battery and network status, uptime, powerplan switch, etc). Who want to see more detailed info can reach them by a single click.
FW Editor: Is Margu-NotebookInfo2 a big resources consumer?
Mario: No, I tried despite much information to keep consumption as small as possible.
FW Editor: Margu-NotebookInfo2 can display some core system data. Is there any chance that Margu-NotebookInfo2 will interfere with Windows basic settings?
FW Editor: Margu-NotebookInfo2 supports any notebook configuration?
Mario: Not any. There are many Notebook information displayed, but not all possible yet. In future releases I've plans at least to add network traffic and harddisk usage.
FW Editor: When do you plan to release the Windows XP version? Can you tell more about that version?
Mario: No chance, because I only support the Windows Sidebar in Windows Vista and 7.
FW Editor: Are there going to be any differences between Margu-NotebookInfo2 for Vista and Margu-NotebookInfo2 for Windows XP?
Mario: See above answer :-)
