FW Editor: What are your plans or objectives in the near future?
Michael Pham: I am continuously working on improving phpDesigner. Some of the new features will be code folding and support for HTML5.

FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for PHP Designer? What inspired you the most? Do you plan to develop new software, or are you more focused on optimizing the current ones?
Michael Pham: I started on phpDesigner more than 5 years ago. It was actually a spin off of my html editor called htmlGate but I soon realised that there were a need for a php editor back then. I am currently working on re-introducing my htmlGate again, so stay tuned!

FW Editor: PHP Designer is one of the best PHP IDE and PHP editors from the market. What is the secret?
Michael Pham: The performance and speed is rapid fast especially on start up unlike programs written in Java. It is more feature-loaded than most of the competitors but still easy to use. You can do all your web-development with all from PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript to FTP!

FW Editor: Can you tell us more about the most important PHP Designer features?
Michael Pham: It must be the multi syntax highlighting, the code completion with support for oo programming, the intuitive way to navigate through your code and project and the ability to work with both PHP and JavaScript frameworks.

FW Editor: What do you plan to do with PHP Designer in the future? Do you intent to improve it by adding even more features and options?
