FW Editor: What are your plans or objectives for the near future?
Jack Lewis: We are constantly striving to deliver software that is as flaw free as possible to our customers. While development takes up a huge percentage of our time, our number one focus is on customer support.
FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for GWiz? What inspired you the most? Do you plan to develop new software, or are you more focused on optimizing the current ones?
Jack Lewis: We received a request for a graphic software package that didn't take a college education to operate. Most of our software was a result of customer requests such as this. We try our best to give the customer exactly what they want for as low price as we can achieve.
FW Editor: From your point of view, which is the strongest GWiz feature? Why?
Jack Lewis: It's ease of use. There aren't a thousand little buttons or commands that you need to learn to get good results. Our customers have direct input on the features that are available in our products.
FW Editor: What new features should we expect in GWiz in the future? How do you plan to improve it?
Jack Lewis: New features are almost always added at the request of our customers. One thing that we would like to implement in the near future is better OCR capability.
FW Editor: GWiz is a great application and personally I love it. However, there are still many people who prefer to use similar software. What can you tell to convince them that GWiz is better?
Jack Lewis: GWiz is always evolving. This is mostly a result of customer requests. We are one of the few companies that actually listen to our customers when they want something new added or changed.
FW Editor: How can you describe GWiz in one single word? Why?
Jack Lewis: Convenient. Our software is tailored to fit our customers needs. If anyone needs a change in software operation, all they need to do is ask for it.
FW Editor: Is there any full customer support service for the GWiz clients? If not, do you plan to create one in the future?
Jack Lewis: We have always offered free support to all of our customers. And customer support is our number one focus. This is not about to change in the future. After all, if it wasn't for 'word of mouth' advertising by our satisfied customers, we wouldn't be nearly as successful as we are now.
FW Editor: To end with, is there any message you would like to send to the GWiz users?
Jack Lewis: There is a lot of software out there to choose from. We encourage all of our customers to shop around for exactly what they want, for the price they want. In most cases, those people always come back to us for a software package that is tailored just for them.
