FW Editor: What are your plans or objectives in the near future?
john in t veld: To listen to feedback from our users and improve the product where possible.

FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for Scan & Attach for Outlook? What inspired you the most? Do you plan to develop new software, or are you more focused on optimizing the current ones?
john in t veld: We got a inquiry from a client if we had a product that could improve the process of scanning and emailing. From there we started thinking about it and concluded that it can save professionals a lot of time and frustration. We are always on the lookout for ways to improve Outlook and Exchange related tasks and will continue to build new products around that in the feature.

FW Editor: Do you plan to develop a Yahoo Mail or MSN version of Scan & Attach?
john in t veld: No, the software is mainly used in a business environment. Outlook is de defacto standard for business email.

FW Editor: Can you tell us more about the image editing tool available in Scan & Attach for Outlook?
john in t veld: The main interface of Scan & Attach has the most commonly used editing tools directly avaialable.(crop, rotated, flip,zoom) If those are not sufficient then one click opens the document in a dedicated editor for more specialized editing.

FW Editor: Why would you recommend Scan & Attach for Outlook?
john in t veld: Because it makes your life easier and makes sure that you always send out your scanned documents with the same quality. When you are using this tool for a while you will find that there are many cases where a scanned document (drawing, invoice, photo, contract, notes) replaces a lot of thinking and typing that you would otherwise have used to comunicate your message. Because scanning is no longer time consuming and difficult, you get more done in a better way. The price is very low and can't be an obstacle for any professional.

FW Editor: What are the main Scan & Attach for Outlook advantages? What makes it so powerful?
john in t veld: It removes all user interaction with the scanner, the scanner software and concepts that they use. no learning curve at all, simply insert the document and clik the button in the outlook email.

FW Editor: Do you have any message or anything to share with Scan & Attach for Outlook users?
john in t veld: Make sure that you have the TWAIN driver selected in the list of sources of the Scan & Attach interface. Most scanners have a WIA and TWAIN interface. If The TWAIN driver is not listed then you may need to download it from the scanner producer website or you may have to enable it fist in the scanner software settings.
