FW Editor: What are your plans or objectives in the near future?
Phillip Sassano: I want to be a fitness model or body builder. I'm a member of Gold's Gym, and working out six/seven nights a week.
FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for Emu Browser Image Designer? What inspired you the most? Do you plan to develop new software, or are you more focused on optimizing the current ones?
Phillip Sassano: The program is three or four years old. It was originally a tool to make programming simple video games easier than using sprite-based techniques.
FW Editor: . From your point of view, which is the most important feature of Emu Browser Image Designer?
Phillip Sassano: By not cluttering the screen with its own user interface, the user can concentrate on what it is being drawn. This inspires creativity and may make some users feel less "intimidated" by too many available features and options.
FW Editor: Emu Browser Image Designer comes with a simple interface, nothing too spectacular or too fancy. However, not everyone is appreciating such a simple interface. Do you plan to make any changes in the future?
Phillip Sassano: No. Programmers can design their own front-end for this application (ie. an always on top toolwindow). The application just has to send keystrokes to the EBID window. I wrote one myself; but I haven't made it available for download at my site yet.
FW Editor: Is there any customer support service for Emu Browser Image Designer users?
Phillip Sassano: Anyone needing help can email support@emubrowser.com. I will attempt to answer any and all questions.
FW Editor: Emu Browser Image Designer is not working on Windows 7. Do you plan to fix that in the future?
Phillip Sassano: Visual Basic 5 applications are unsupported on Windows 7. There is no fix for that, unfortunately.
FW Editor: To end with, is there any message you would like to send to Emu Browser Image Designer users?
Phillip Sassano: Please visit www.emubrowser.com. There you will find tips, tricks, ideas, sample images, musical compositions, etc.
