FW Editor: WinLube supports only Windows Vista and Windows 7 platforms. However, many people are still using Windows XP. Do you have any plans to release a WinLube version for Windows XP as well?
Florian Geib: WinLube is the successor of WinSpeedUp and was designed specifically for Windows Vista and Windows 7. We recommend WinSpeedUp to users of Windows XP and older versions of Windows.
FW Editor: We have understood that you offer several discounts for those who want to upgrade their previous WinLube 1 version to newest one (WinLube 2). Can you tell us more about these offers?
Florian Geib: There is a 50% discount for users of WinLube 1 who want to upgrade to WinLube 2. Just send us an e-mail to support@scriptsoft.de and we will send you the discount coupon code.
FW Editor: WinLube incorporates a complete system maintenance set of tools. However, from previous experiences, we have noticed that many system maintenance applications are some high resources consumers. What about WinLube?
Florian Geib: WinLube is a very compact application and does not consume high resources. For the tuning to take effect, WinLube does not need to run all the time. Start WinLube, perform your tuning tasks, and quit WinLube. There will be more free resources than before.
FW Editor: Why is WinLube better than the default Windows maintenance tool
Florian Geib: WinLube offers more tuning and clean-up functions than Windows does. You could do most things by hand, but this requires detailled knowledge of Windows, its registry database and file system. WinLube does most tasks automatically.
FW Editor: WinLube is not your first or only project. Can you tell us a few things about your other important applications like WinSpeedUp and Straight Pool Sheet?
Florian Geib: WinSpeedUp is our first tuning-tool for Windows 98 up to Windows XP. Straight Pool Sheet is an Android app for a very special purpose. It is a digital score sheet for the straight pool discipline of billiards.
FW Editor: Beside the supported operating system, is there any other major difference between WinLube and WinSpeedUp?
Florian Geib: The development of WinSpeedUp is mostly finished. WinLube is still being developed and many new features will be added in further versions.
FW Editor: Can you tell us more about your future projects? What are your plans for the future?
Florian Geib:
