dealing with. I wanted to have a simple automation for my workflow. Then i've decided to
share it as free considering it might be useful who is interested.
FW Editor: Are you planning to design WinEmPower for other version of Windows, like XP and Vista?
Tevfik Binen: I'm whispering, it can be used for XP/2003/Vista , but you have to know which option might
be ok :) Fully compatible for windows xp and vista, i am not going to develop, because
target always the last release of the operating systems.
FW Editor: Do you plan to improve WinEmPower in the future, adding more features?
Tevfik Binen: I'm not planning directly. But i could consider if any request will be made by a user of
WinEmPower.
FW Editor: Which characteristics of the WinEmPower are the best?
Tevfik Binen: GodMode Link, PowerShell and command prompt entegration to context menu, Open with Notepad, Take Ownership context menu integration
FW Editor: Do you think that disabling some of the Windows features can harm user's computers?
Tevfik Binen: Any of the features cannot harm the users' computers. But as expressed by the tooltips,
disabling windows defender and user account control can create security leak. They are not
the options which are enabled as default. It is a choice, more performance over these
options means less security. Any changes has been done by WinEmPower, can be restored
easly.
FW Editor: Is there any risk in using WinEmPower?
Tevfik Binen: No risk, It is portabile, no installation required. Easy to restore the applied settings.
