Dragos Manescu: Our plans, as a software developing company focused on electronic communications are to develop the most innovative unified communication tools for small and medium companies and to double our user base until the end of the year.

FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for Visendo FaxServer Standard? What inspired you the most? Do you plan to develop new software, or are you more focused on optimizing the current ones?
Dragos Manescu: We are more focused in optimizing the current ones and to develop some innovative, niche products with focus on the current trends: web 2.0, IPHONES, communities etc

Dragos Manescu: It is MADE in GERMANY. I am kidding, of course. It is reliable, flexible and we are always improving it. Not to mention that it easily supports FoIP configurations. And you don't need to be a geek or to hire expensive consultants to implement it in your company. Remember, Support is Free!

FW Editor: What are the main differences between Visendo FaxServer Express, Standard and Enterprise?
Dragos Manescu: The Express version is for small companies that have a low fax sending/receiving activity. Fax Server Express is the improved version for medium companies that heavily use faxing (10 clients, 10 licenses, 2 lines). And Fax Server Enterprise is the solution for Corporations: it is fully customizable. The most important characteristics ( FoIP, Virtualization, archiving, SharePoint integration, MS Office Integration or Active Directory Integration) can be found on all of them.

FW Editor: Can you tell us more about the core features available in Visendo FaxServer Standard?
Dragos Manescu: I will make a short list with the main features of Fax Server Standard: special fax routing rules, documents storage as TiFF, PDF, JPEG, SFF, Fax Scheduling, 10 clients, 10 license, SharePoint Integration, SOA and SAAS, POP3 Recall, it allows automatic back-up and, of course, there are other features as well.

Dragos Manescu: I love FoIP and Virtualization related issues. Fax Server Standard is configurable to be used with Virtual Gateways as FoIP. Why is that? Because i love things that are environment friendly (GREEN software) and that help us reduce costs.

Dragos Manescu: This is the most important trend right now: it allows to be green and sustain the environment while you take care of your costs/server, enhance flexibility and make sure that your solution is still integrable with CRMs, Document Management systems (SharePoint), SLAs
