Qizx/db is a XML Query database engine designed to be embedded in a Java application - typically a Servlet. As such, it is primarily used as a class library.
To help experimenting with XML Query and XML databases and developing, Qizx/db also comes with two tools which make it easy to build a database, populate it with XML documents, and perform queries on this database, without programming - except of course in XML Query:
