FamousWhy Editor:
QuickMark Barcode Reader it is a powerful and easy to use freeware that lets you decode various popular 1D and 2D barcode formats from a simple image file (with the incorporated drag and drop feature), your webcam or a screen capture.
QuickMark Barcode Reader is available in two versions: one for mobile phones (and here, depending on your mobile device and mobile OS, you can browse and download a different QuickMark Barcode Reader version as well) and one version for PC.
QuickMark is a bit different from other similar applications. First of all, beside the simple barcode scanning, QuickMark also enables you to create your own 2D barcodes via a simple interface.
As I have said above, this powerful tool supports both 1D and 2D barcode formats. 2D barcodes are more popular (Quick code, Data Matrix or QR code) but 1D format is often used as well (EAN 8/13, Code 39, Code 128, Code 11, Code 93, Matrix 25, Codebar, UPCE, Straight 25, Industry 25 and Interleaved 25). Support for both 1D and 2D barcodes means more possibilities and a better barcodes management system.
The simple drag and drop system allows you to drag a barcode (BMP, JPG, GIF or PNG formats) into QuickMark. With one single click, QuickMark can easily decode the image.
Another useful tool is the screen capture feature. If you have a bigger image or an image which contains several different barcodes, Screen Capture Mode enables you to "see through" the QuickMark application and decode barcodes that are visible on your screen, such as barcodes you see on web pages, documents, etc.
Why is QuickMark famous?
QuickMark is famous because it is a powerful and easy to use freeware that lets you decode various popular 1D and 2D barcode formats from a simple image file (with the incorporated drag and drop feature), your webcam or a screen capture.
