Mozilla Firefox is one of the most popular (if not even the most popular) internet browser of the moment. Maybe one of its top qualities is the possibility to add as many add-ons and extensions as you want and completely customize your Firefox version. Basically, a user can change everything related to its internet browser starting with general interface and ending with powerful add-ons like FireBug, AdBlock Plus, Firefox Sync or FoxTab.

Show Password is another useful Firefox add-on. Show Password can display your passwords (instead of the standard ***** display) allowing you to see the password you type and avoid any possible typing mistakes.

Everyone is using passwords (more or less) and it is recommend it to use a different password for every account you own. However, if memorizing or storing these passwords may look like a simple job, typing them is the real problem (surprising). Many websites are not allowing you to copy->paste text into password or user name fields.

You need to type them manually. More annoying is when you want to create a new account and you need to type a new password and confirm it. If you mistype something (either for password or password confirmation) may display and registration error. Show Password can save you from all this trouble.
Show Password is a simple Firefox add-on and it can be installed as any other Firefox add-on or extension.

Upon installation, a small icon will be displayed on the lower right corner of your Firefox window. Simply click on that icon to display the password (remove ***** marks). Clicking on the image again converts "password" fields back to "password" and hides the text written in the field.
