FamousWhy Editor: SliderDock is an application launcher that will allow you to create a list of shortcuts to easily access them later on by double clicking on them, offering in the same time a nice customization that will add some life to your desktop.
The list is created by easily drag and drop icons on the application. You can add as many icons as you want; they are automatically arranged in a 3D circle. To access an application you just have to scroll your mouse wheel until the desired icon will come to you, in front of the others. Of course that any other application displayed in the ring can be access by just clicking on it.
SliderDock is highly customizable. You can adjust the 'Ring size', the 'Icons Size' and the 'Rotation Speed' of the icons. You can add ShaderEffects used to apply monochrome and/or pixelate effects when mouse is within a selected icon, although for this feature you will need DirectX 9.0 installed on your computer
But the most important customize feature are the Themes. You can change Icons background images, IconSeeker background images, IconSeeker foreground image and the DescriptionBox style.
You can control SliderDock either by using the mouse or the keyboard shortcut keys. The keyboard keys used for controlling the application can be changed in the ShortcutKeys menu.
SliderDock can be hidden anytime with just a simple key combination. It reappears once you press the same keys again. SliderDock is also automatically hiding itself once you launch an application. When is hidden it keeps the memory usage to a minimum.
SliderDock allows you to create multiple rings; this feature is very useful in grouping the icons in any way you wish. You can change from one ring to another by pressing the mouse wheel or by setting any key combination you would like.
