The TapTempo VST plugin is in better than alpha stage and has been tested by many. There are a few cosmetic bugs and I have lost the source so I am releasing it as is.
This plugin will allow you to use a midi key or mouse to tap your tempo. It will then send a midi cc that you can map to an xt sequencer in Live mode with the tempo range of 10 to 250.
It also should send a message to update host BPM but Xt doesn't support this and I have not tested it in other hosts. Press the arrow in the right corner to access settings.
