View Source Choice is a Firefox extension that shows the page source in a variety of contexts. Current options include current window, new tab, new window, view source window (the Firefox default), and sidebar. By default this is only activated on pages loaded via the view-source: protocol, but in-built is the ability to override the 'View->Page Source' menu item (Ctrl+U). It doesn't override the key or the menu item, but rather the page source command. So it should still work if you have customised those items using an extension like keyconfig or menueditor.
